Bournemouth has agreed to sell their central defender Nathan Ake, by accepting a £41million offer from Manchester City as they look to raise funds following their relegation from the Premier League to Championship.
They will receive £40m upfront with a further £1m to come in add-ons.
Both teams will discuss personal terms as the deal is expected to be completed in the coming days.
Nathan Ake joined Bournemouth from Chelsea for a club-record fee of £20m in 2017 and had been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, but City is now his next destination. The club is also closing in on a deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, 20, who has been identified as a replacement for Leroy Sane.
